The Große Mühle in Hasede utilizes cutting-edge mill technology provided by the market leader, Bühler. The three in-house mill systems are equipped with technical updates or replaced with even more efficient mills on a regular basis.

As the mill is located directly on the bank of the Innerste river, we can use its water power to generate energy. In 2017 we built a weir and integrated three high-performance turbines which convert the water current of the Innerste river into the electrical current which drives the mill. Thus, depending on the utilization of the mills, 10 to 15 % of the required current is produced directly on site in an environmentally friendly way.
